Robert Fekete was born in Satu Mare in 1987,
and lives and works in Cluj Napoca, Romania.
He is one of the youngest artists coming from Cluj,
former capital of Transilvania
and a veritable melting pot of cultures and history.
In the last years he refined his education in Cluj, Turin and Rome.
From 2010 to 2012 he was residing at the Romanian Academy of Rome.
Fekete’s paintings have been displayed in various galleries,
like the Dominique Flat Gallery in Paris (2014),
HVVCA – Hudson Valley for Contemporary Art,
Peekskill, New York (2013);
Conduits Gallery in Milano (2012).
He took part to collectives:
Spazi Aperti, Romanian Academy in Rome (2011);
V Biennal of Prague (2011);

among which the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art,
Peekskill and the Art Center Hugo Voeten, Herentals, Belgium.
